Proposal · v1.0 · May 2026
Prepared for Premier Business Brokers

A platform to replace the third party, built for how your team works.

01 · Where you are today

We did our homework. Here's what we understand.

Before we propose a platform, here are the six things about your current CIM production that shape every decision in this document.

F.01
Production is currently outsourced.
CIMs are produced by a third party vendor, with charges accruing per report. Bringing this in house is the central business case for this platform.
F.02
The interview is the input.
Today, sellers are interviewed and the recording flows into a structured production process. We design around this proven intake.
F.03
Industry data has no clear source.
The vendor sources its own market research. You have an opportunity to build a transparent, auditable research pipeline you control.
F.04
Financial data already flows from sellers.
Sellers provide P&L and balance sheet data directly, or via accounting software. Our platform ingests both paths from day one.
F.05
Volume is significant and tiered.
High-quality CIMs run 10 per month for top clients, 10 per quarter for the rest, with additional lower-tier reports on top. Roughly 200 reports per year across all tiers.
F.06
The current output is "fine, but repetitive."
Your team has called out that the existing CIM lacks variation. Our generated output is tailored per business, not template padded.
02 · The opportunity

You're paying for software you don't own.

Every CIM produced by the third party is margin walking out the door. The platform we're proposing pays for itself against that ongoing cost, then keeps paying you back every year after.

ROI ANCHOR · BASED ON YOUR STATED VOLUME
At 200 reports per year, the platform replaces a recurring cost line with a one time investment.
If vendor charges $500/CIM
$100K
Annual savings · ~33 month payback
If vendor charges $750/CIM
$150K
Annual savings · ~22 month payback
If vendor charges $1,000/CIM
$200K
Annual savings · ~16 month payback
03 · The build plan

Three phases. Each one earns the next.

The platform learns to do more in each phase. Crawl lays the foundation and replaces the vendor for your most important use case. Walk adds the intelligence layer. Run scales the platform to its full shape. Each phase ships a working product, and each one builds on the last.

SPRINT 01 · ~12 WEEKS
Crawl
The foundation

A working platform that produces Full CIMs end to end. Replaces the third party for your highest-value tier.

  • Structured intake form
  • Auto-research from public data sources
  • CSV financial upload
  • Full CIM generation
  • Designed PDF export
SPRINT 02 · ~10 WEEKS

  • Recording upload + AI transcription
  • Auto-fill intake from interview
  • QuickBooks Online integration
  • Google + Yelp reputation pull
  • All three CIM tiers (Full, Micro, CBR)
SPRINT 03 · ~10 WEEKS

04 · The user journey

From new project to finished CIM, in six steps.

What a broker does in the platform, start to finish.

01
Start a project
Broker opens the platform, names the engagement, picks the CIM tier.
02
Capture seller data
Upload a recorded interview or fill the structured intake form.
03
Pull research
Industry data, market sizing, reputation pull. Broker reviews and approves.
04
Generate
AI composes the CIM section by section, using your captured and curated data.
05
Review & edit
Broker walks each section, confirms every number, edits anything that needs tweaking.
06
Export
Designed PDF (Crawl), plus Word and PowerPoint exports in Run.
05 · How it works

AI does the heavy lifting. Your broker is the final word.

The platform uses AI to transcribe, research, and write. Your team controls every output. We are transparent about what the technology does, what it does not do, and exactly where human judgment lives in the workflow. The current vendor's process is a black box. Ours is not.

AI HANDLES
The heavy lifting
  • Transcribing the seller interview (AssemblyAI)
  • Pulling and structuring industry research from public sources
  • Pre-filling the intake form from the interview transcript
  • Composing narrative around your captured data (Claude, from Anthropic)
  • Tagging uploaded photos by section
  • Suggesting financial add-backs from QuickBooks categories (Walk)
BUILT-IN SAFEGUARDS
Every number, every claim, traceable
  • Numbers in the output match your source data verbatim. AI does not originate financial figures.
  • Every industry statistic carries a citation back to its source.
  • Your seller's confidential data is never used to train AI models.
  • Generation cannot complete without your broker's approval at every section.
YOUR BROKER CONTROLS
The judgment calls
  • Approves the auto-pulled research before it lands in the CIM
  • Confirms every number in the financial section against the source
  • Reviews each generated section, flags or rewrites anything that needs human judgment
  • Curates which reviews surface (Walk)
  • Signs off before any CIM leaves the platform
06 · The build, sprint by sprint

What each sprint adds to the platform.

Each sprint extends what came before. Sprint 1 builds the foundation. Sprint 2 layers intelligence on top of it. Sprint 3 brings the platform to its full operational shape. Nothing is rebuilt; everything is added.
